Xanax User Feedback and Testimonials

Numerous consumers from around the world use Xanax. They have had quite a bit to say about it and they have shared with others how it works-or didn’t work for them.

This of course does not replace expert medical advice. You should also get a checkup from your regular physician as well get an initial evaluation completed by a psychiatrist.

This will determine your need for Xanax and it will also help establish its level of safety. Whether or not it is the right med for you depends upon a variety of factors, such as your health conditions, current medication and supplements used, and allergies. Whether or not you have ever been addicted to drugs or alcohol in the past may be a consideration, too.

In any case, you are entitled to know what other patients say about this drug. Real users share what they have to say about Xanax:

“I’ve no bad side effects from Xanax. It’s been working well for me.”

“…always worked. I haven't had to take it in 5 months…”

“It’s working. I do feel a bit better…”

“Helps with anxiety and sleep.”

“Since starting the Xanax I’ve noticed improvement.”

“Seems to helping with the anxiety.”

…”been on it for awhile, I think I my need to up my dosage.”
…helps calm me…”

“Worked as soon as I got up to 1MG dosage.”

It worked great for all the users quoted above, as well as other patients. However, sometimes people experienced a bad reaction and therefore were required to removed.

Such is the experience of a person who says, “felt like I was going off the deep end.” On the other hand, this was a lady who happened to not be taking the maximum dosage level.

Overall Success Rate

Xanax works between 91% and 96% of the time in most users. Therefore, people with anxiety and panic attacks are almost certain it will be effective for them.
People with bipolar have also benefited, so this gives other hope that this particular drug can change a person’s life-at least temporarily. People experiencing depression for any reason including bereavement also have benefited from it.

Valium User Reviews and Testimonials

Another drug used quite often today is Valium. It is very similar to other medications of the benzodiazepine class of drugs in that it works on the central nervous system. The following comments indicate its effectiveness on users, or concerns made by users:

“I love Valium! Valium is the only benzo that works for me. I take 10 mg at bedtime or 5 mg during the day for anxiety. I love this stuff!”

“[For] Occasional use I use this maybe 1-3 times a week to get some sleep (relating to GAD). Works great. If I give myself a full 7-8 hours to sleep I don't feel groggy in the morning.”

…”Good. causes depression when taking it alone, but while taking it with nardil, was like a miracle cure.”

“Works great for me. This is the only med that worked for me after trying many others including anti-depressants. I use it to "reset" my roaming internal clock about twice a week.”

“Worked very well Valium worked very well for me. It calmed me down when I needed it. It helped me sleep better...Then I got a new doctor and he started me on Xanax, which works better for me.”

“The major reason for the switch of the person who made this last comment was a move to a location along with a new doctor. However, this shows that it can work but sometimes is not 100% foolproof or not preferred by everyone.”

“I take 10 mg. night for my leg spasms. It seems to work ok. I also take it when I get MS Hugs and it helps with that also. Valium helps more with the MS Hugs. Nothing helps my legs much except for pain meds and I only take pain meds if I have to leave the house.

Negative Comments

A majority of the comments and feedback made on review sites are overwhelmingly positive. However, for every one to three positive comment there is about one negative one.

This shows you how different people are and how they react differently to different medications. It gives you an idea of perhaps what to expect in the worse scenarios as well as the best. However, in these instances of course it does not show an indication of rare, serious side effects.

“Am I dreaming? While experiencing the effects of Valium after an acute panic attack, I sometimes wonder why I even bothered taking the drug in the first place.”

“Valium I've only used once, for several weeks. Ativan worked better for me.”

“I had a very bad paradoxical reaction to Valium. I felt very suicidal and very depressed. As soon as I stopped taking the valium the feelings went away.”

“Very relaxing... Valium (Diazepam) is a benzo with muscle relaxing properties, so when you take it, you feel really good. But if you have to operate machinery, or even exercise (dance, etc.) then the good, relaxing feeling is not so good for you.”

“Not enough for me. This worked a little bit, but only took the edge off of the RLS, instead of eliminating it. It did help me fall asleep, though.”

This last comment was made by a user who used it for Restless Leg Syndrome and thought Valium could use some room for improvement in this area.
Additional users who had tried Valium would argue that although it may be very effective, it should only be used as a last resort. The reason why is because this drug can be so easily addictive. In fact, of all the benzodiazepine medications out there this one (diazepam) is the one that is among the most controversial.

However, it also is a drug that is well known and has been used for a variety of purposes over a 40 year span. Therefore, even though less habit-forming drugs out there are pushed, this one still stands to reason as a great way to help relive anxiety, convulsions, muscular pain or restlessness.
